The Muscle Hill horse Southwind Frank was one of the best young trotters in North American harness racing of his day.
He won 17 of his 26 lifetime starts including 10 consecutive races at two highlighted by the Breeders Crown, was 2YO Trotting Colt of the Year in both America and Canada, set a world record of 1:52.2 at three and earned a hefty $1,950,887.
Southwind Frank, who was first at the stud in America and is now based in Italy, has sired the winners of $US 7.7million from only four crops of racing age including last year’s USA 3YO Filly Trotter of the Year Bond and the Hambletonian heat winner Delayed Hanover.

He was second in the Breeders Crown Final, Canadian Trotting Classic elimination, Earl Beal Jr Memorial elimination, Kentucky Futurity Final, and Hambletonian Stakes elimination and Final. He was in the top 3 for 24 of his 26 lifetime starts.
