In Sweden, we mainly remember the five-time millionaire Backfire, who won in a. Queen Silvia’s Cup (Gr I), and the Breeders’ Crown final as a four-year-old (Gr I).
Offshore Dream began his racing career with three starts as a two-year-old, which resulted in two wins. The stallion celebrated great success as a three-year-old and earned €245,200.
Victory in the Criterium Continental as a four-year-old, the journey continued towards the Prix d’Amérique 2007, where Offshore Dream won a new record 1.12.0/2.700 m!
In 2008, Offshore Dream repeated and won again the Prix d’Amérique in 1.12.1.
The career ended in 2009, after he finished third in the Elitloppet final, where he set a new record with a time of 1.10.1.
